The partners of the STRICE project have published throughout the
project's operative phase a considerable number of scientific papers.
One PhD thesis has already resulted directly from the STRICE project.
Currently several others are in preparation which heavily utilise
STRICE data and results and apply or further develop methods
and models which have their origin in the project.
The STRICE project coordinator has published, and widely circulated, an overview on
the STRICE project in the HSVA NewsWave issue no. 2/2002 (pp 6-7) which is also
available for downloading
here
(PDF file ~ 7 MB).
In conjunction to this please refer also to the information
provided in the sections on this web site concerning the
PhD / doctoral theses resulting from the STRICE project
One doctoral thesis resulted directly from the STRICE project.
Jaakko Heinonen
(VTT -
formerly at HUT)
Constitutive modelling of ice rubble in first-year ridge keel
Ongoing postgraduate research takes great benefits in using data acquired in
STRICE as well as applying, methods, models and tools developed in the project.
Resulting theses will be listed here when completed.
STRICE workshop on POAC'03 - the project's main dissemination event
The main event on which the project partners presented and explained
key results to the science and engineering communities was the
POAC'03
17th International Conference on Port and
Ocean Engineering under Arctic Conditions
which was held at NTNU
in Trondheim Norway, June 16-19, 2003
and co-ordinated by STRICE partner Prof. Dr. S. Løset.

STRICE-related publications in scientific journals
Several publications resulting from or closely affiliated with the
STRICE project are published in international scientific journals.

More publications are expected to come which will incorporate results based on
the large data sets, models and results gained in the STRICE project.
A wide range of ongoing research and developments already have and will in future
have its roots in STRICE results and data.
Future STRICE related publications will be included in the list above
as reported by the project partners.
