Under the Fifth Framework Programme for Research and Development DG RESEARCH has implemented the Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development (EESD) Programme. Within this programme the STRICE project is co-funded as a cost sharing contract (contract number EVG1-CT-2000-00024) as an RTD project of generic nature.
